You can compare different files with the new comparison tool in Twona System in two ways:
- CONTENT comparison: Using editable PDF files and Word documents
- PX TO PX (graphic) comparison: Using editable and outlined PDF and EPS files.
The system will only admit some file formats, recognisable with the paperclip icon
Apollo allows you to compare files that are now included in the system, tracked in a particular request, but also files outside the system by attaching them in the request.
These new files attached can be DEACTIVATED from the system for future interactions.
HOW TO ACCESS TWONA'S COMPARISON TOOL
- Once logged in Towna, go to STATUS page and find the request you want to compare
- Locate Comparison Tool icon in TOP bar
and lauch the comparison feature
- You will find 2 boxes containing: files previously attached to the request and tracked versions
- Look for the key files you want to compare and click and hold on the paperclip icon, drag them to the appropriate box: REFERENCE or TARGET. (*)
- Once displayed the files in both boxes, you can choose what kind of comparison you want to do CONTENT or PX to PX (graphics).
(*) This action can be repeated as many times as you need, to replace one or both files. System will only compare last files dragged.
HOW TO COMPARE TEXT CONTENT
- Once selected the correct files, press on CONTENT button to acced the CONTENT COMPARISON Tab
- Only if selected files have the required properties, the system will recognize and display content in both text boxes
- You can add missing text or delete extra text to native files before the comparison
- Finally, press COMPARE button and the system will give you back the resulting report.
HOW TO COMPARE PX to PX (graphics)
- Once selected the correct files, press on PX to PX button to acced the PX to PX COMPARISON Tab
- System will show you as many pages as the native document has, select desired pages in both REFERENCE and TARGET boxes
- Selected pages will be marked with an orange frame around and will be displayed in AW PREVIEW window (below), with some transparency to help you identify them
- You can adjust images position using arrows in the top-right corner, before the comparison
- Finally, press COMPARE button and the system will give you back the resulting image. Differences will be marked in red color.
