How to ... upload a new design/version?

Modified on Thu, 28 Oct, 2021 at 12:46 PM

After a project has been moved throughout the workflow, there will be a moment when the project is ready for the design team to upload a new document version of your artwork/design.

The team in charge of this should have access to the workflow stage where this is needed.

In order to upload a new version, they will have to navigate to the Project / Versions area. If no versions are available yet, choose the Add Version to new Tag group button to start your upload.

- Edit tags if you need to add some tags to specify your upload (we could want to add a tag that represents the "Folding Box", so we upload all artwork related to the box here, and in the future, artwork related to the leaflet to a different tag group. Or for example, a country specific artwork, in our example, UK). If your artwork and your project share tags, do not edit the existing ones.

- Select the Version number - the system starts numbering 1.0 , and will automtically upload next versions as 1.1, 1.2, etc. but you can adjust this.

- Choose the version status - normally, a new version is uploaded on a stage called In Process, or for Review - depending on your naming .

- Upload your files by dragging and dropping or finding in your computer. Remember that there are no size limitations!

- Click SAVE.

You will see a number 1 next to your version, and the added tag (if applicable). If no tags are showing , this means that the project and versions share tags.
