If you are an approver, you will be sent an approval request by one of your colleagues/partners. This approval request comes as an email to your inbox, and the sender is "TWONA AMS".
This email will look similar to this:
and it will contain the information your colleague/partner would have included :
- The message from your colleague/partner to you about their request (in our example: "Dear zurinegarciamtesting2, Please see files for you to review.")
- The Document name and version number (in our example: TEST AUTOMATION ZAPIER , 1.1)
- A link to visit a secure and unique URL to check the files and provide your feedback (Give feedback here)
To proceed, click on the "Give feedback here" link to access the page.
If you only had to approve one version, you will be taken to a page that looks like this:
In this page you will be able to:
- View the file name and format and preview or download the file that requires your check.
- From the preview window, you will be able to add notes to the file needed, so that you indicate changes directly on the design.
3. Add a message or record a message in the Approval feedback section
When leaving a message you will be able to write some notes but also attach a file (e.g. extra notes or a new keyline/text...)
When recording a message, you will be able to select to share your screen, and /or use your camera view. 4. Approve or Reject the document - make sure you did not forget about step 2 and 3, as after approving or rejecting the page is no longer editable.
Your feedback is then completed, and your colleague/partner will be notified that you reviewed the document(s).
---
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE INITIAL SCREEN WILL LOOK DIFFERENT WHEN YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE APPROVAL TO PROVIDE.
In that case, you will be taken to a table view of all the artwork versions that you need to approve. Use the 3 blue dots to the right of the table to access each of them, and proceed as per above instructions.
