How do I remove an approval sent?

As you probably know, once an approval request has been sent to an email address, it is not possible to send it again. This is for quality control purposes, so to avoid using wrong information when processing changes/approvals. 


However, if you have an artwork where you already sent an approval request to a user and you would need to remove it, it is possible to do so. 

The most common scenarios is that you want to withdraw the request because you detected an error and would not want to continue with the approval process. It is also possible that you have a finalized version with all approvals in place, but some time after, you need to start a project from that version - and you want users to give input on the same version to start the process. 


In any of those cases, you can hide the approvals sent but keep the information still stored in the Loogbook, so the process is still compliant. This means that the approval information is never deleted, but the artwork is "released" for further feedback. 


How to do this? 


1. Navigate to the Artwork details screen. 

2. Click on the three dots next to the name of the person whose approval/comments you want to withdraw

3. Select Archive approval


You will now see that the bubble for that user is no longer showing.
